Creating a Consent Record

To create a consent record:

  1. Navigate to Data Privacy - Consent Management
  2. Click Add Consent
  3. Fill in consent details:
    • Purpose - What consent is for
    • Data Subject - Who gave consent
    • Collection Method - How consent was obtained
    • Consent Date - When consent was given
    • Expiry Date - When consent expires (if applicable)
    • Status - Active, Withdrawn, Expired
  4. Click Submit

Under GDPR, valid consent must be:

  • Freely Given - No pressure or imbalance of power
  • Specific - For specific, explicit purposes
  • Informed - Clear information provided
  • Unambiguous - Clear affirmative action
