Overview
The reporting feature enables you to generate incident reports for management review, compliance documentation, and trend analysis.
Accessing Reports
To access incident reports:
- Navigate to Incident & Breach
- Click on the Report tab in the secondary navigation
- View available reports and analytics
Generating Individual Reports
To generate a report for a specific incident:
- Open the incident from the list
- Click on the action menu
- Select Generate
- Download the PDF report
Report Contents
An incident report typically includes:
- Incident Details - ID, name, description
- Timeline - Date of incident, detection, resolution
- Impact Assessment - Type and scope of impact
- Response Actions - Steps taken to resolve
- Root Cause - Underlying cause (if identified)
- Lessons Learned - Improvements identified
- Recommendations - Future prevention measures
Report Analytics
View incident analytics:
- Total incidents by status
- Incidents by type of impact
- Incident trends over time
- Resolution time metrics
- Assignee workload
