Overview

The reporting feature enables you to generate incident reports for management review, compliance documentation, and trend analysis.

 

Accessing Reports

To access incident reports:

  1. Navigate to Incident & Breach
  2. Click on the Report tab in the secondary navigation
  3. View available reports and analytics

 

Generating Individual Reports

To generate a report for a specific incident:

  1. Open the incident from the list
  2. Click on the action menu
  3. Select Generate
  4. Download the PDF report

 

Report Contents

An incident report typically includes:

  • Incident Details - ID, name, description
  • Timeline - Date of incident, detection, resolution
  • Impact Assessment - Type and scope of impact
  • Response Actions - Steps taken to resolve
  • Root Cause - Underlying cause (if identified)
  • Lessons Learned - Improvements identified
  • Recommendations - Future prevention measures

 

Report Analytics

View incident analytics:

  • Total incidents by status
  • Incidents by type of impact
  • Incident trends over time
  • Resolution time metrics
  • Assignee workload
